Tuition and Registration: Mentoring/Tutoring Note: Updates underway until this notice is gone
How to register
If you decide that the Mentoring program or traditional tutoring is a good fit for your student, please follow the following process to begin:
1) Complete and submit the registration form at the bottom of this page. You should receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org within two full business days. If you don't, please check your spam folder and then email or call me directly in case of a technical error. I never ignore registrations or emails.
3) Once we have discussed your needs and goals for your student, I will send you an invoice and set up a time for an orientation video chat.
4) Following the orientation, I will begin working with your student.
The Mentoring program and traditional tutoring use the following technology:
email (preferably Gmail but any okay)
Word, Drive, or Rich Text Format capability
Skype or Google Meet
Students may register before they have the required technology, but instruction cannot begin until they have it ready to use.
Tuition and Fees
Registration fee: $15 Paper evaluations:
$25/up to 750 words
$7/each additional 300 words
Traditional tutoring: $40/hour -- Total is rounded to the nearest quarter-hour.
Billing Policy: Unless other arrangements have been made, payments for mentoring must be made before I can return your student's evaluated work. I accept personal checks, cashier's checks, cash (if you are local), and Paypal ("goods and services"). Your invoice will provide payment instructions and due dates.
Refund policy: Refunds are only available for drafts that have been paid for but not yet submitted.
